Mihawk Flashback Confirms Conqueror’s Haki?

We see a flashback of Zoro training under Mihawk, perhaps Mihawk hinting at using Conqueror’s Haki.

After all, this whole fight between Zoro and Sommers is about using Conqueror’s Haki.

Will this explain all the feats Mihawk pulled or were they merely his overwhelming physical strength augmented by the Black Blade Yoru, coated with constant Armament Haki.

A Quick Conclusion

The fight is over within essentially 2 chapters, making it one of the shorter fights in modern One Piece, around the same length as Daz Bones (Mr. 1) vs Zoro.

Here, Zoro has finally attained full awareness of his Conqueror’s Haki to target the heart of the Holy Knight Saint Shepherd Sommers.

Previously, his sword only bounced off the heart because it lacked Conqueror’s Haki but the fact Zoro was close made Sommers scared shitless.

Shift to Sanji

The scene shifts back to Sanji vs Killingham, which might prove to be a longer, more meaningful fight.

Since Zoro already attained Conqueror’s Haki back on Wano and only learned to actively tap into it during the Sommers fight, it was quite short.

Sanji will need to overcome his self-doubt, maybe tie more of his loyalty to Luffy and achieve his own identity as a King.

While Zoro is a subtle journey of growth through training and practice, Sanji is about the mind, the self, conquering the fears of his being and strengthening that into literal willpower, or Haki.
