Azami SOLOES Yura! The Second Sorcerer Clan Revealed! Kagurabachi Chapter 96 Spoilers!

In the previous Kagurabachi chapter, the Kamunabi leader Kasen reveals his treasonous plan to use the Enchanted Blades by cooperating with the Hishaku while Yura faces off against Azami.

Kagurabachi Chapter 96 is titled, “Pressure”

As Kagurabachi is in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine cover, we have 22 pages, including the magazine cover and the color spread.

The magazine cover features Chihiro and Hakuri in business suits.

The cover spread features all the previous arc main and secondary antagonists.

For the Vs. Sojo Arc, the first arc (Chapters 1-18), we have Genichi Sojo himself alongside the Daruma Sorcerer.

For the Rakuzaichi Arc, the second arc (Chapters 19 to 44), we have Kyora Sazanami and his eldest son Soya.

For the current Sword Bearer Assassination Arc, we see Hiruhiko and Kuguri

Chihiro is in the middle of the spread, showing how overwhelmed he is by this opposition throughout the story.

The chapter begins with Ichiki calling a Kamunabi employee and telling them to inform Shiba and Hiyuki to return to Kamunabi Headquarters at once.

Even if it is already good that the two are protecting Sword Bearers, the priority is to prevent the Sword Saint from being killed or else the other Sword Bearers will be killed from the loss of the Lifelong contract.

We cut back to Azami and we see an image of Enten and Tobimune together.

This is because Uruha senses Chihiro and Samura together, with Uruha relieved that Chihiro was able to get to Samura.

Meanwhile, Azami confirms that Yura intends to use the Shinuchi’s power to kill its wielder.

Azami intends to finish Yura off before Chihiro and Samura even arrive.

Uruha calls Azami and Natsuki as Azami activates his Sorcery, Koin (literally “coin” and the kanji is “oneself” + “stamp”).

Yura remarks he is quite a fan of Azami’s Sorcery due to being a fan of gambling himself..

Azami focuses on Yura, the man he identifies as the leader of the Hishaku who appeared in the Rakuzaichi incident but feels the most anger when he remembers that Yura is the mastermind behind his friend Kunishige’s assassination.

This immediately cuts to a page of the three men ganging up on Yura.

We return to Ichiki, who also senses Chihiro and Samura nearby.

It seems this chapter is confirming that Sorcerers can sense the Spirit Energy of the Enchanted Blades and not just the wielders themselves.

The subordinate returns with bad news: the electricity is out and the barrier has been altered.

Kasen mocks the Kamunabi’s efforts, saying that the Hishaku are doing their jobs well in spite of the chaos.

Now the Kamunabi are isolated and helpless.

Ichiki confirms that the barrier has now been altered to keep the Enchanted Blades out, which surprises Ichiki as he had never heard of anyone being able to alter the barrier in such a way.

Still, Ichiki counts on Samura and the rest to break the barrier.

Kasen sees that the next few minutes will determine the outcome.

We head back to the fight as Yura activates Centipede again and Kasen states that only sorcerers in their “flesh” are in the Kamunabi and they are not enough to stop the Shinuchi.

Only Enten and the Flame-Bone that Hiyuki wields can compete.

“Sorcerers in their flesh” could be physical-type sorcerers like Azami and Natsuki.

While Uruha and Natsuki were injured by Centipede, Azami remains standing unscathed.

Centipede is a 360 degree attack but Azami just exposed its weakness: the back of the caster.

Everything in front, above and around the caster are affected but the pillars behind Yura remain intact.

Additionally, like Cloud Gorger’s “Mei”, there is a cooldown period.

Azami realized what Uruha and Natsuki’s plan was, for the two who fought Yura before to act as bait so Yura can use Centipede but for Azami to strike behind Yura.

Azami is surprised Chihiro and Samura have not arrived yet but chooses to focus on stopping Yura.

Yura sees Azami as an obstacle but even as he turns, he sees Azami has disappeared and so Yura activates Dragonfly, which results in Azami’s arms being grievously injured.

Yura reminds Azami that physical-types cannot withstand the Shinuchi.

Suddenly, the coin flipped earlier sparks next to Yura.

We cut to a television show explaining the “Eleven Coin Therapy”, a folk remedy that uses weak electric currents generated by the differences in ionization tendencies to balance the body’s internal electric flow to relieve pain and stiffness.

A town doctor was responsible for this technique as the doctor was able to freely manipulate a patient’s electric currents and miraculously cure their severe illnesses.

As it turns out, this technique is the Sorcery of the Azami Clan, confirming the second Sorcerer Family of Kagurabachi is Soshiro Azami’s and he is their only son, who modified the Sorcery, normally for healing, to be used for combat.

The doctor speaking here is actually Soshiro’s father as he tells his son to get out.

We see that the Eleven Coin Therapy hastens blood flow and can improve Spiritual Energy strengthening.

This technique can also be used to intensely stimulate the opponent’s muscle fibers, which we see with blood bursting out from Yura’s body.

Yura realizes he had underestimated Azami and that he is a true Sorcerer.

But as Yura declares Azami’s limit, Azami clenches his broken arm and hits Yura’s side hard with it..
