Joy Boy’s Haki Confirmed STRONGER THAN SHANKS! ONE PIECE 1123 SPOILERS

Last chapter, we witnessed Emeth unleash Joy Boy’s ancient Haki that sent the Five Elders back to Mary Geoise and bringing back some of Imu’s trauma of the legendary first pirate. Now we witness the conclusion of the Egghead Island Arc.

Chapter 1123 is titled “The 2-week Void”

Cover page: Ogre Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage, Vol. 11: Denjirou punishes the kids by having them eat oden with the person they hate. So Denjirou and the kids eat oden with Yamato and become friends.

The chapter begins in Egghead Island, where every Marine, including the Vice Admirals, have fainted from the Haki release in the last chapter. S-Snake is still inside the bubble and tries to wake them up to go after the Straw Hats.

In the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship, Luffy in his Gear 5 form thanks Emeth for its help but there is no response from the giant robot. Dory and Brogy do not sense any enemy presence at all.

Dorry: That Conqueror’s Haki may be even stronger than Red Hair’s Haki.

The Elbaf ship and Thousand Sunny sail together to Elbaf. Child Bonney sleeps on top of Kuma while Zoro relaxes. 

From the Sunny, Usopp cries when he greets the two giant captains. Luffy lies down on Nami’s lap in his “wrinkled form”.

Sanji stands alone, looking at Vegapunk’s body that is lying on a futon. 

Sanji: I really don’t feel comfortable with what you said back there, Vegapunk. Is this how you wanted things to turn out? I didn’t catch you clearly, but you said some crazy lines.”

A flashback begins, set to 2 weeks ago on Egghead Island. 

Shaka discovered that the data from the Power Plant had been altered, so he informed Vegapunk and Pythagoras. 

Shaka: Please look at this, there are some changes in the particle number density and neutron flux. The energy being used on the Seraphim have increased gradually. If this was a mistake, it’s a very serious issue.

Pythagoras: Huh? This… is different from the data we recorded.

Shaka: The changes were cleverly hidden in records.”

Vegapunk: So the culprit is one of the Vegapunks…!! Could it be Lilith?”

Shaka: Only the 3 here have a perfect alibi. An enormous amount of energy has been stolen…!!

Vegapunk: One of the remaining 4 is the culprit..! Especially Lilith…

Pythagoras: That’s why you want to turn our brain on “Stealth Mode”.

Shaka: Correct. If we upload this experience to “Punk Records” Lill.. The culprit will also be alerted. 

A week later, the three discovered the real culprit.

Pythagoras: Oh no!! Oh no!!! have found the culprit!! It’s York!!! 

Vegapunk and Shaka: What—!!!”

Pythagoras learns that the information York uploaded to “Punk Records” were “fake memories” and that she manipulated Den Den Mushi videos too. Shaka also notices that York had been manipulating the “Sea Beast Weapon”.

Vegapunk: But why!? And sorry Lilith!! It was my mistake to use “greed” to create a person… 

Taken from the data Vegapunk recovered was the recording of York communicating with the Five Elders. 

York used a “White Den Den Mushi” to send messages to Mary Geoise (saying Dr. Vegapunk Is studying the “Void Century”).

Vegapunk then understood why Cipher Pol has constantly visited Egghead Island more recently. 

One day later (6 days ago from the present day), the Vegapunks learn about the Lulusia Kingdom’s destruction. Vegapunk deduced this was possible because York stole a portion of the “Mother Flame” and then sent it to the World Government using a “Sea Beast Weapon”. 

Vegapunk: So the World Government possesses an “Ancient Weapon”!!

Shaka suggests capturing York but Vegapunk realizes it is too late. No matter her goal, York has shown herself useful to the World Government with the “Mother Flame”, meaning every other Vegapunk with knowledge of the “Void Century” will be erased.

Vegapunk: Prepare a ship, so the inhabitants of Egghead can escape… But that is not an option for us!! All Marine bases already have secret orders to arrest us!! 

They will chase on to the end of the world, so we will end up dying anyway no matter where…

But we have the devices that Ohara didn’t 22 years ago!! We have a way to broadcast our “voice” far and wide!!

The closer I get… the darker it’s to see!! What exactly is the “World Government”!? I will not let my death will be in vain!

– Vegapunk also said there’s one more technology that must be protected: the “Kumofuto”, the machine used to create “island clouds” (that is the bottle in the middle of Egghead)

Vegapunk: We must save it, since “island clouds” can be very useful for humanity if the world sinks!! 

Later, Vegapunk begins modifying the inside of the Ancient Giant Robot Emeth to house the ‘Transmission Den Den Mushi”. York finds this and asks what Vegapunk is doing. 

Vegapunk: ‘I’m trying to make the robot move with the ‘Mother Flame’”.

York: I hope the “Mother Flame” will be perfected soon!!

Vegapunk (thinking to himself): The fact that “Mother Flame” is still imperfect is our only hope

Two days from the present, Vegapunk, Shaka, and Pythagoras created the recordings for the worldwide broadcast

Upon finishing their records,  Vegapunk, Shaka, and Pythagoras wiped their memories of everything that happened over the past 2 weeks to ensure their plans and knowledge of York as the traitor will not be exposed.

Vegapunk: “The disaster that is going to happen…is precisely what will bring about our victory!!!” 

Vegapunk wakes up after the memory erasure and sees a note left by himself, saying that their research had just been leaked to the World Government and the Vegapunks will die soon. 

Vegapunk’s note: However, during this “2-week void” we have already prepared the countermeasure. Please, believe in yourself and die!! And one more thing…

Then the scene changes to the moment when Vegapunk, together with Sanji, Atlas, and Franky, was riding the “Vegatank-08” towards the lower part of Egghead during the Marine’s attack.

Vegapunk reveals to Sanji that he has no intention to go back to the upper level and that he will remain on the lower part of Egghead. 

Vegapunk tells Sanji that, if possible, Sanji should leave him to die.

Vegapunk I feel like, if I die, something important will happen!!

Sanji: Of course it would cause an uproar. I can’t just let you die!!!

Vegapunk: Please do, I beg you!! And also…!!

Sanji: What is it…?  

In the last page of the chapter, we cut to the present. The Giant Pirates and some of the Straw Hats are shown celebrating.

Giant Warrior Pirates: Uwoah—!!

A toast to— the reunion with our friends—!!!

Usopp is celebrating on top of Dorry’s hand. Brogy grabs wrinkled Luffy while Chopper is on Brogy’s beard. 

Everyone celebrates, though Luffy remains in his wrinkled form, resting.

Luffy (wrinkled form): Wait… Celebrate it later… Later… 

Usopp: Woahhh!! To Elbaf, the land of my dream!!!

Brogy : Gababababa!!! 

Dorry: Gegyagyagyagya!!!

As the celebration goes on, we can read what Vegapunk wanted to tell Sanji in Egghead Island.

Vegapunk: Oh, and about the One Piece…

I wish that it will be you guys who obtain it!!!
