LANCELOT THE NEW KING OF CHAOS! Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 248 Spoilers!
Just like how Meliodas chose to abandon the Seven Deadly Sins for the sake of saving his love Elizabeth from death, Lancelot does the same, only this time swearing to end the world in his own terms.
In the previous Four Knights of the Apocalypse chapter, Lancelot sacrifices his sanity for love as he accepts Cath Palug’s Chaos.
Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 248 is titled, “Worse-Case Scenario”.
This chapter has 20 pages.
The cover shows Lancelot embracing Guinevere tightly as he is covered in Chaos power.
Gawain clarifies that Lancelot fully consented to this, without any brainwashing or possession, to a binding vow (Jujutsu Kaisen) no one can break.
Lancelot uses his Heart Reading to tell all of his friends to get away from him, his very last cry for help and humanity.
As he transforms, Lancelot prepares to kill everyone, so Gawain opens the door to Britannia and return to Liones in front of Diane and King.
The Holy Grail knights are shocked to see the existence of Giants and Fairies.
Perhaps Lancelot is the reason the realms of the other races will be fully separated in the present day.
Now Cath cheers on as he has seemingly gained an overpowered vessel.
However, Lancelot lunges the spear against Cath, either silencing him as a voice like the Lady of the Lake inside him, or potentially ending his influence.
Here, Lancelot declares that he will destroy the world in his own terms.
This whole turning point is its own kind of incredible.
This is clearly retreading on old ground.
Meliodas set up this path in Chapter 242: “The End of the Seven Deadly Sins”, released on November 8, 2017, nearly 9 years ago.
They even share similar forms as Assault Mode also has wings, as well as Meliodas’ final Demon King form when he finally broke his and Elizabeth’s curses.
However, it also ties back to Lancelot’s whole journey: from acquiring the Lady of the Lake as the source of his overwhelming power in Chapter 211: “Lancelot: Knight of the Lake” to the prophecy of Ban dying by Lancelot’s hand in Chapter 223: “What I Wish to Protect”.
Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 249 is titled, “A Prayer” and will be released on August 19, 2026.
