Four Knights of the Apocalypse © 2021 by Nakaba Suzuki/Kodansha

In the previous Four Knights of the Apocalypse chapter, Percival chooses to be lovers with both Anne and Nasiens.

Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 214 is titled, “Rest and Resolve”.

This chapter has 20 pages.

The chapter cover is just Howzer and Gilthunder’s reactions to the news of Percival’s relationship with both Anne and Nasiens, with Howzer running off.

Donnie recovers and is totally thrown off, thinking the news is a joke.

Next, we see Edlin, Donnie’s friend, and Bourse, one of the rescuees from Camelot, reacting with total shock, such that Bourse was knocked out.

Gareth is also in Liones, eating bread alongside his ghost twin brother Dareth as he nonchalantly says that it was sudden.

Tristan laughs at the news while Chion is disgusted.

Howzer goes to Guila, who looks cheery over the news of Percival’s honeymmon.

Bro is not even married yet and he has a honeymoon.

Howzer is surprised by how calm Guila is by the news and Guila says that they should be back in 2-3 days.

Howzer sees that as not the problem.

Guila sees no issue with the relationship since spirits see things differently from how humans do.

Howzer goes to the King, Meliodas, calling him a dunderhead for letting Percival leave at this time.

Meliodas, on the other hand, is busy with his routine, being under his wife’s dress.

Howzer reminds the King of the urgency here as Camelot continues its expansion across Britannia, their Holy Knights are exhausted from fighting.

With Lancelot temporarily disabling the Four Evils, Howzer sees this as the right chance to strike.

Meliodas then says something sensible and considers what would happen if he sends out the Four Knights of the Apocalypse and all the Holy Knights of Liones to fight Camelot without rest until Arthur is defeated.

Meliodas reminds Howzer that most of the Four Knights and their allies are youths are barely 18, so it is cruel to push them too far.

Meliodas also asks Howzer what he was doing at age 18, with Howzer saying that all he did then was bragging about just becoming a Holy Knight.

This makes Howzer reflect and apologize, having forgotten that it is the adults who usually fight for the children.

Meliodas also clarifies that this is not just rest either.

For Meliodas, while it is fine to fight for higher ideals like the world or humanity, people need something more solid to fight for, like friends, family and loved ones, who help them grow in strength and develop a greater sense of purpose like it was for Meliodas himself and the Seven Deadly Sins.

Yes, by having loved ones close by, a person can have a purpose to fight for, rather than die for someone else’s cause.

Rushing into Camelot and endangering not just the Four Knights but everyone else is a bad idea.

Meliodas further assures Howzer by saying that Thetis is working with Lancelot to keep an eye on Camelot.

Speaking of marriage, Tristan proposes to Isolde indeed, promising to wed her after the battle against Arthur is over.

While hiding behind a bush, Chion cries, having been told by Tristan, who noticed him, that he is Tristan’s best friend.

Tristan decides to leave, with Isolde noticing that Chion has been eavesdropping on them the whole time.

Tristan approaches Meliodas, who thinks his son is looking for his mother, who is in the courtyard.

However, Tristan came to ask for his Papa to train with him and to not go easy on him just because he is his son.

Lancelot is his inspiration for wanting to get stronger, so that Tristan will not cause his friends and mother to worry, most of all to protect his beloved Isolde with his own two hands.

Thetis leads the royal pair to a land that used to be wetlands with no nearby villages but was absorbed by Camelot, so even if the two rough it out, there won’t be much effect.

First, Meliodas intends to gauge Tristan by his base strength and Tristan immediately activates his Demon Mark.

In an amazing double-page, we see Meliodas effortlessly punch Tristan and push him a large distance, all without a Demon Mark.
