The SATISFYING Downfall of Diodora! Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 198 Spoilers!
Being healed from his anger, Percival’s Hope was able to win over Diodora’s Despair.

In the previous Four Knights of the Apocalypse chapter, Percival meets with Varghese and he was able to overcome his anger and lose his killing intent towards Diodora.
Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 198 is titled, “Percival vs Diodora!”
This chapter has 20 pages.
The long-awaited day of the duel between Percival and Diodora has begun!
Talking about the next match, Gawain says that in the end she will be the winner, but Tristan says that he will not give up victory so easily.
Meanwhile, the two Isoldes talk.
The Isolde we know says that she will stay to protect the other one in case of any problems and that she hopes that her father recovers his memories.
So it begins: the battle of Hope vs Despair!
Who would win?
Gawain says that Percival is superior in his abilities, but Diodora is not left behind thanks to his powers.
Diodora uses Invocation, the ability he stole from Turret to summon the Beasts of Purgatory while Percy attacks, punching him and, surprisingly, the attack does not reflect back with Despair’s effects.
Instead, Diodora suffers damage, leaving him confused.
While Percy goes after him, beating him mercilessly, the Beasts of Purgatory stand still as if they no longer obey orders.
Diodora wonders why Percival has not suffered any damage and Gawain analyzes Despair, confirming that in a way, it is also a curse.
Despair only works if the opponent’s attacks have negative emotions in them.
In other words, Percy has no intention of harming Diodora, so he does not suffer anything.
The beatdown may look violent but Percival is calm and without malice.
He is simply giving “love taps” by comparison to Diodora, who relies on negative emotions to attack to begin with.
This is quite good and also in line with both the theme of Diodora’s ability and Percival’s character arc, making the last chapter so essential to ensuring Percival does not only become weaker but also overcomes despair with his Hope power, the ability to gain more power from the positive emotions of others.
The chapter ends as Percy says that they do not know anything about each other but that they should still be friends, extending his hand to his wounded opponent.
Will Diodora accept this or be further cursed by despair?
Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 199 is titled “Guest” and will be released on July 9, 2025.
