Reo and Nagi Will Face Off In their Final Battle! Blue Lock Episode Nagi Chapter 35 Spoilers!
Blue Lock’s spinoff is setting up its final battle to join the Japan U-20 team. Will Reo and Nagi team up or fight each other?

In the previous Blue Lock Episode Nagi chapter, Nagi learns about the meaning of fear of death and Reo prepares to rejoin Nagi.
Blue Lock Episode Nagi Chapter 35 is titled, “Eternal Sunset”.
This chapter has 48 pages.
The cover shows Reo tying up his shoes in preparation for the match.
The name of this chapter is likely a reference to Nagi’s favorite movie: “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, not to mention how the plot parallels Reo and Nagi’s relationship.
Reo is still unaware of his copy potential and thinks he will not be on Nagi’s level.
At the Third Selection Room, Nagi reunites with Isagi, whose team (with Jyubei Aryu and Meguru Bachira) he will face off.
Isagi is relieved to see them survive while Nagi, Barou and Chigiri express their intent to defeat Isagi.
The 3rd Clear Team is made up of Eita Otoya, Tabito Karasu, and three others.
The 4th Clear Team is led by Reiji Hikage, who Chigiri and Nagi do not recognize.
The 5th Clear Team is led by Ikki Niko and the 6th Clear Team have Raichi and Gagamaru.
Nagi is confident Reo and the others will make it.
When the 7th Clear Team appears, Nagi sees only Igaguri, together with Tetsu Sokura and Ranze Kurona, making him worry until Reo appears.
Nagi attempts to greet Reo, monologuing about how their reunion is so painful yet warm, but instead, it gets cut off as Reo walks past him.
Nagi wishes to apologize for everything he said earlier, wanting Reo to forgive him and worries that he will hurt Reo again if he forces his selfishness upon him
With Shidou as the last player to come out, Isagi asks Reo where Kunigami is and Isagi is shocked that it seemed like Kunigami gave up.
Shidou says he did because he put Kunigami through the “express train to hell” and that Kunigami’s heroic side would not help Shidou level up, so he eliminated him.
This makes Isagi, leading to Shidou attempting to kick him but Isagi is saved by Chigiri.
Ego tells them to stop fighting as it is a waste of time to think about those who have been left behind in the selection process.
Ego reminds them that their careers in Blue Lock are about to disappear fast due to the world’s best players wanting to eliminate Blue Lock as fast as possible.
Three weeks from now, there will be a special match for Blue Lock’s continued existence, a match between Japan U-20 national team and the Blue Lock Eleven.
With this match, Blue Lock can steal the slots of the Japan U-20 to represent Japan in the U-20 World Cup.
Both Reo and Nagi are ecstatic at the chance to fulfill their dreams in the world limelight.
After Ego declares that Blue Lock will transform soccer, the players ask who will be part of the Blue Lock Eleven among the seven Clear Teams, each made of five members (so 35 in total), wondering if they will have to pick mid-fielders and defense from the group.
Ego says he has already thought of that and since forming a team within 3 weeks requires a rational gamble, Blue Lock will form a team based on the top six players during the Selection Process.
- Rin Itoshi
- Ryusei Shidou
- Tabito Karasu
- Eita Otoya
- Kenyu Yukimiya
- Seishiro Nagi
Yes, fitting the spinoff all about him, Nagi made it to last place among the top 6, in contrast to his fate being 24th in the Blue Lock 23, meaning being unable to qualify.
First, Ego will divide the six players into pairs, rank them as A, B, and C to form three teams.
The remaining 29 players will choose which team they will join.
Three people will be randomly assigned to the team they chose to form teams of five.
Afterwards, each team will play a five on five game against each other, essentially acting as tryouts for the right to join the U-20 team.
Reo wants to use this as a chance to prove himself.
The top six head for the next room, where they think about what will happen as Yukimiya thinks that the top six will be deciding the formations to use against Japan U-20.
Karasu and Otoya declare war on Rin and Shidou but Karasu punches Otoya for getting close and Otoya dodges like a ninja.
Nagi hopes to have another fun match with the ninja duo and then asks Shidou how Reo was doing.
While Shidou says he could care less, he does mention that everything about Reo is broken and he is beginning to change.
In the training field, Reo practices and monologues about how deep down, he was happy to see Nagi again but lacks the confidence to face him.
Bro, they were only away from each other for like two monthly chapters.
Meanwhile, Nagi thinks he is the reason Reo is broken but because of that breaking point, Reo grew stronger the same way Isagi broke him and fired him up.
That is who Rin is to Isagi, who Sae is to Rin.
Setting one’s sights on the people who broke them and trying to change makes people stronger.
It can be an objective (Isagi), envy (Rin), hatred (Sae), or admiration (Nagi)
So he hopes that Reo waits for him and stays a genius as Reo checks his card to see which Team he will join
Team A has Rin and Shidou, Team B has Karasu and Otoya and Team C has Yukimiya and Nagi.
Nagi realizes that to Reo, Nagi is someone he sets his sights on.
Both men declare their objectives: with Nagi wanting Reo to break him too so he can be fired up and for Reo to become Nagi’s light.
This is giving some Gon and Killua energy.
The chapter ends with Reo hoping they can find a new way to relate to each other while Nagi’s cactus is still at home.
The final Blue Lock Episode Nagi chapter will be released on July 9, 2025, the same date as Blue Lock Chapter 310.
Chapter 310 preview revealed today, July 5, 2025: “Nagi and Reo are aiming for the world’s best ! After chasing this fire, what comes is…”
