The birth of Neo Egoist is upon us with the finale of Blue Lock’s longest arc yet!
In the previous Blue Lock chapter, Isagi relishes his win against Rin as he declares war on every genius, including his own team’s master striker Noel Noa and proposes an alliance with Kaiser.

Blue Lock Chapter 285 is titled, “Agreement”

The chapter begins with Kaiser looking confused at Isagi, who previously wanted to “kill him” in the battlefield.
Isagi convinces Kaiser that doing everything by yourself will not be enough against geniuses.
Rin cannot be stopped by one person alone, as proven throughout the match.
Since Rin’s plays are beyond the logic of one perspective, Isagi suggests combining the logic of two prodigies.
Isagi seeing Kaiser’s unexpected deflect of Rin’s strike made Isagi realize that they were barely able to defend, so if they properly plan out an attack together, it would work out even better.
Isagi also declares that he intends to throw away any ill feelings and to use everything in his arsenal as a tool for victory.
Kaiser at first thinks that Isagi has lost it but he now sees that this is the evolution of Isagi’s truest ego.
Kaiser then asks Isagi who will score the last goal, which Isagi recommends that they do it equally.
It does not matter who gains the glory of winning if none of them win at all, so the goal is to aim for the “phenomenon” of winning
To make it easier, the two rivals will assume this is a “contract” for a “job” to get what both want, which is to defeat Rin.
Kaiser begrudgingly acknowledges that they share the same objectives: beating Rin and destroying Noa.
Then we see an amazing double-page spread of Kaiser and Isagi moving forward, trading hands while their respective puzzle pieces behind them.
