Rin secures the goal, declaring his intent to purge himself of reason and become a Beast for destroying his brother Sae and rival Isagi.
In the previous Blue Lock chapter, Rin and Isagi work together to stop Onazi from shooting the goal.
Blue Lock Chapter 320 is titled, “Hero or Die!”

The chapter begins with a flashback of Isagi plotting out the second half’s formation.
Rather than pushing the whole team forward, Isagi suggests that he and Rin will focus on breaking through the center, using quick passes between them to build momentum and give other Blue Lock members a chance to score.

We go to another flashback, from 30 days ago for Rin’s training in the form of meditation and anger management in a monastery.
Rin tries to imagine nothingness but from his image emerges his rival Isagi declaring he will be Number 1 and his older brother Sae calling him weak.
The monk smacks him on the head to remind Rin to let go of his attachments.
Rin realizes that without Isagi and Sae, he would not be the person he is today, so his true self would have the desire to destroy those two.
He intends to destroy himself to remake himself and anything that gets in the way will be treated as mere delusion.
Rin passes the ball to Bachira, who attempts to make a goal but Nigeria’s defense catches on.
We get Ego’s speech from last chapter about football being akin to hunting.
However, the ball reaches Hiori, who aims for the goal but the goalkeeper blocks it, so Chigiri takes his turn but Onazi blocks that ball.
Rin concentrates on his desire to destroy Isagi and Sae, to never stop his overwhelming desire to destroy and become the Beast of Destruction.
Onazi witnesses Isagi and Rin no longer cooperating but competing to see which one takes the goal.
Onazi is overwhelmed by how everyone in Blue Lock is aiming for their own goals, everyone being a hunter.
This match is a race to see which player becomes a striker, a hero.
Bachira passes the ball to Isagi, who prepares to take it.
Rin declares that if Isagi will use logic as a prodigy to become a tool for victory, then he, a genius, will use instinct, selling his soul to pure adrenaline, not victory.
This results in Rin shooting the third goal for Blue Lock.
