On May 17, it was stated in the seventh volume of Takashi Shiina and Katsuyuki Sumisawa’s manga adaptation of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon (Hanyō no Yashahime) that the series will reach the “final battle” in the eighth volume, which will be released in fall 2024.

In October 2020, Yomiuri TV and NTV carried the anime’s premiere. Hulu, Funimation, and Crunchyroll all offered anime streaming. An English dub was also streamed via the services.

After 16 years, Shiina concluded the Zettai Karen Children manga in July 2021. In 2005, Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine published the sci-fi comedy series.

A 2010 original video animation adaptation and a 52-episode television anime series were both inspired by the manga.

2012 saw the North American premiere of the series under the moniker Psychic Squad by Sentai Filmworks.

The Unlimited – Hyōbu Kyōsuke, a spin-off anime that centered on the series antagonist Kyōsuke Hyōbu, debuted in 2013. In 2015, Sentai Filmworks released the series on home video, and Crunchyroll provided streaming access for it.

The first Inuyasha manga was published by Rumiko Takahashi in Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1996 and finished in 2008. In North America, Viz obtained a license and released all 56 volumes of the manga.

Based on the manga, the 167-episode Inuyasha anime series aired from 2000 to 2004.

InuYasha: The Final Act, a 26-episode follow-up anime, aired from 2009 to 2010. In addition, four anime films and a 30-minute anime short have been influenced by the series.

In 2019, Viz started to release the anime on Blu-ray Disc.

Viz has the rights “to the digital streaming, EST, and home video” of the original anime in North and Latin American territories. The company describes “the brand new anime from the Inuyasha universe” as:

The daughters of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha set out on a journey transcending time!

In Feudal Japan, Half-Demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s brother, Sota, and his family.

Ten years later, the tunnel that connects the two eras has reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with Setsuna, who is now a Demon Slayer working for Kohaku.

But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister.

Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past.
