On Monday, Ufotable released a promotional key visual for Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc. The visual features Genya Shinazugawa, who is in the spotlight in the arc.
The drawing is titled “Genya Immortal River”, a nod toward his abilities.
In the poster, Genya Shinazugawa can be seen in his uniform, holding his gun and a sword and smiling.
Posters with the visual will be sold from 05/22 (Monday) in relevant stores.
The new season premiered on April 9, and Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs.
The anime is based on Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 2016 to May 2020, with its chapters collecting a total of 23 tankobon volumes.
Demon Slayer is being published in English by Viz Media and simultaneously by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform.
Crunchyroll describes Demon Slayer as:
It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon.
To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.
Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.
