On August 4, 2026, it was announced that The Dangers in My Heart will end within 3 chapters.

The series was concluded to end this year on January 8th.

The current chapter, 195, released on July 25th, concludes the graduation trip as Anna Yamada and Kyoutaro Ichikawa share a kiss on a ferris wheel.

Since chapters are released biweekly or every two weeks, this means that the series will end around September 5 with a total of 198 chapters instead of 200.

Furthermore, Volume 14 is set for release on November 6, 2026, covering Chapter 183: “My Battle Begins” up to Chapter 198 for a total of 16 chapters, two more than the previous volume.

Greenlit on February 2026, the anime will return with Season 3 in 2027, which would adapt Chapter 114: “We’re Going Out” and will likely end with the conclusion of Volume 11 at Chapter 154: “I’ll Find You, Wherever You Are”

As of January 2026, the series has reached 7 million copies sold.
