Shin Kamen Rider Films Crosses The 2 Billion Mark!
Within its first three days, the movie managed to sell 345,000 tickets.
As of Sunday, the live-action movie Shin Kamen Rider directed by Hideaki Anno has made over 2.02 billion yen (equivalent to around US$15.02 million).
This achievement is notable as it is the first time any movie in the Kamen Rider franchise has surpassed the 2 billion yen mark, making it the highest-grossing film in the history of the franchise.
After its release on March 17, the movie initially debuted in second place on its opening weekend.
However, within its first three days, the movie managed to sell 345,000 tickets, earning a total of 542 million yen (which is approximately US$4.12 million).
The movie was directed, written, and produced by Hideaki Anno. Shotaro Ishinomori, the original creator, is given credit as well.
Katsuro Onoue served as the associate director, and Ikki Todoroki worked as the assistant director.

Sousuke Ikematsu plays Takeshi Hongo/Kamen Rider, while Minami Hamabe plays Ruriko Midorikawa.
