Seraph of the End To Conclude in the Next Volume

After 14 years, Seraph of the End will conclude its story with the next volume.

On May 4, 2026, in the afterword of the author Takaya Kagami, it was announced that Seraph of the End will be concluding its story with Volume 37.

After nearly 15 years, this monthly manga will end at around Chapter 160.

Volume 36 was released on May 1st, covering 5 chapters, from

The most recent chapter was from May 2nd, Chapter 156: “Despite it All”, was released with 47 total pages, and is going to be part of this final volume.

This shows that there will be 3 or 4 more chapters left, meaning that the series will end on August or
September 2, 2026.

Volume 37 is likely set for December 2, 2026.

About Seraph of the End

Seraph of the End is the work of three people: written by Takaya Kagami, illustrated by Yamato Yamamoto and features storyboards by Daisuke Furuya for Shueisha’s monthly Jump Square magazine on September 4, 2012.

With 36 volumes and 156 chapters so far, the manga has sold 15 million copies as of October 2022.

This would be adapted by WIT Studio (Attack on Titan Seasons 1-3, Vinland Saga Season 1, Ranking of Kings) under the direction of Daisuke Tokudo (Attack on Titan Season 1 and 4 episode director) and music from Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan, Seven Deadly Sins, Solo Leveling) , Takafumi Wada (both from Seven Deadly Sins Seasons 1-2), Asami Tachibana (Darling in the Franxx, Haikyu!!) and Megumi Shiraishi, with 25 episodes total airing from April 4, 2015 to December 26, 2015.

The story is set in a post-apocalyptic Earth after 2012 ravaged by a man-made virus that only those under the age of 13 are unaffected by.

In the midst of this, vampires emerge to rule over the survivors and we follow the protagonist, Yuichiro, joins the vampire extermination to avenge his family.
