Sakamoto Days Is Ending Soon
After a 5-year run, Sakamoto Days is set to end very soon with a final arc.
On July 24, 2025, it was announced that Sakamoto Days will be entering its final arc on Issue 36/37 of Weekly Shonen Jump, although it is phrased as “Final Battle”.
This means that by Chapter 224, to be released on August 3, we will be entering the last section of story left for Sakamoto Days.
As Sakamoto struggles to awaken from his coma, the new JAA remains strong, with X’s Organization still intact and 3 members of Order left to oppose our heroes.
About Sakamoto Days
Sakamoto Days was first released on November 21, 2020 by Yuto Suzuki for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and has reached 22 volumes as of July 4, 2025 and sold over 12 million copies as of June 2025.
Sakamoto Days is the story of Japan’s greatest hitman, Taro Sakamoto, who marries an ordinary woman, Aoi, and forms a family, giving up the dangerous life of an assassin with a vow to never kill again.
