Record of Ragnarok Reaches 20 Million Total Sales
After 9 years, Record of Ragnarok has reached the 20 million sales milestone.
On July 23, 2026, it was announced that Record of Ragnarok reached 20 million total sales across its original manga and spinoffs.
Previously on November 15, 2024, the series sold 18 million copies and averaged about 3 million copies sold per year.
Record of Ragnarok Season 4 has been announced last June 26th, which will adapt the 10th and 11th rounds of the tournament (Okita Souji and Susano’o no Mikoto and Simo Häyhä vs Loki), covering Chapter 85: “Secrets” to Chapter 106: “Pure Love”, which could cover around 15 episodes like the past two seasons.
About Record of Ragnarok
Record of Ragnarok is a manga written Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Azychika for Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon in November 25, 2017, currently at 28 volumes and 121 chapters, with Volume 29 coming out on November 20, 2026.
The manga was adapted as an original net animation (ONA) series by Graphinica and premiered in June 2021 on Netflix.
A second season by Graphinica and Yumeta Company premiered in January 2023, with a third season airing on December 10, 2025.
Yasuharu Takanashi (Naruto Shippuden, Fairy Tail) composed the score.
The story is set in a fighting tournament between prominent historical figures representing Humanity and gods from various mythologies, with the fate of humanity in the balance.
