On August 9, Aka Akasaka’s Shueisha’s Twitter account announced that both of his manga series, Oshi no ko and Renai Daiko, will be going on hiatus for around one month.
Both manga are going on hiatus due to his health. In the tweet, Akasaka notes that he has been unwell for about a month but has already returned to writing, but chapters will have some delay.
Meanwhile, Mengo Yokoyari, illustrator for Oshi no Ko will be drawing a short side story, Oshi no Ko: Interlude. It will be serialized for four weeks.

Little does Gorou realize that he’s about to forge a bond with her that defies all common sense!
