One Piece Teases Luffy’s Battle with the Final Villain in Elbaph!
We might be much closer to the climax of the entire One Piece series than we realize.
During this week’s Weekly Shonen Jump, we get a sneak preview showing that the next chapter will begin the fight between Monkey D. Luffy and Imu on Elbaph.
This week’s chapter has confirmed that Imu, possessing the body of a Holy Knight, Gunko, will be the main enemy of the Elbaph Arc but for the past two weeks, Luffy’s group, comprised of the whole Monster Trio, Loki and the New Giant Warrior Pirates led by Loki’s half-brother Hajrudin, have been stuck in the lowest level of Elbaph, the Underworld while waiting for a wounded Loki to recover.
Ever since Imu’s introduction in Chapter 906: “The Holy Land Mary Geoise”, Imu has been touted as the final boss of the entire series.
After close to 250 chapters, Imu makes their move on Elbaph, where the Straw Hats are, setting up the first direct confrontation between the new Joy Boy and the founder of the World Government.
One Piece Chapter 1151 will be released on June 8, 2025.
