One Piece Takes a Sudden Break
One Piece is on a sudden break this week.

On September 30, 2025, it was announced that One Piece would be taking a sudden break.
This was not planned within author Eiichiro Oda’s schedule as October 5 would have seen the release of Chapter 1162.
There is also a two-week break in the anime, meaning there will be no new One Piece content coming out for the weekend.
While there is no confirmed reason why, there are rumors that this is due to Oda’s health.
