One Piece Live-Action Season 3 Confirmed For 2027
One Piece Live Action is set to return next year with the iconic Alabasta Arc, ending the Straw Hat’s first saga into the Grand Line
On April 7, 2026, a short 10-second clip shows the title card for Season 3, titled, “One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta”, which is set for release in 2027.
The title card makes the title appear and disappear with the sands, revealing the aesthetic of Alabasta Kingdom and a hint to the powers of Sir Crocodile, the Warlord of the Sea and main villain of the Alabasta Saga who wields the Suna Suna no Mi.
This means all of Season 3 will be covering the Alabasta Arc, which goes from Chapters 155 to 217, 63 chapters in total.
Season 2 covered Chapter 100 to Chapter 154, a total of around 54 chapters within 8 hour-long episodes.
There is always the chance for additional content from the Jaya Arc (Chapter 218 to 236, 19 chapters total) to be included, especially the introduction of Fleet Admiral Sengoku, the Five Elders and especially two of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Donquixote Doflamingo and Bartholomew Kuma, who will be joined by Mihawk in their first onscreen meeting with the World Government.
This inclusion could also allow Doflamingo’s actor more exposure if the Jaya Arc is adapted for Season 4, which will definitely cover all of the Skypiea Saga (Chapter 218 to 305, 85 chapters total).
Considering that this teaser has been released, an official teaser is expected at Jump Festa 2027, on December 19 to 20, 2026 the latest.
Filming is still underway for Season 3 and is expected to end by June of this year.
Season 2 of the live-action series maintains the top spot on the Netflix Global Top 10 list and achieves a 100% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, not to mention over 100 million views for the live-action as a whole.
