On February 25, 2026, it was announced that Season 2 of the live-action One Piece series will be getting a theatrical premiere on March 10, the same day as its debut.

One Piece: Into the Grand Line will premiere on March 10, 2026 on Netflix worldwide and will have a theatrical release of its first two episodes than 200 theaters in the US, Canada, and Japan.

This is quite uncommon, if not rare, reserved for special events.

The most recent screening was for the finale of Season 5 of Stranger Things in more than 500 theaters beginning in the US and Canada from December 31, 2025 to January 1, 2026.

Coinciding with the release of Chapter 1176 on March 9th, One Piece live-action also produced a visual mimicking Volume 12, when the Straw Hats began their journey to the Grand Line, just as the latest One Piece chapter has done but updated with the Thousand Sunny and current lineup.

Season 2 will cover the events of Loguetown all the way to Drum Island, where the new Straw Hat, Tony Tony Chopper would be introduced.
