One Piece reigns at the top of the rankings
On Wednesday, MANGA Plus released a Media Guide for advertisers and revealed tons of relevant data about the platform as of October 2023.
Here are some of the most interesting figures.
According to the media guide, 80% users of the MANGA Plus app are male across all languages (namely English, Spanish, French, and Thai.
It also shows that most users are in their 20s, and more users are teenagers. Thai language is the only exception in this, with most users being in their 30s.

Next. the Media Guide also shows manga consumption and how many people reading in a specific language have bought a physical volume as well.
It also shows data on digital purchases, where 53% of language users have bought digital manga.
It was also seen that users value supporting the mangaka the most along with wanting simulatenous releases.
Catalog and UI isn’t as big of a concern for fans, with multilingual support and comments being of least relevance.
The most impressive figure, however, is the decrease in use of pirate sites since 2020, especially in 2020 and 2022.
This is great news, considering the companies’ problems with piracy of mangas, showing that fans are ready to read when charged reasonable rates and provided with an easy way to read their favorite manga.
