One Piece Heroines Adaptation Announced
Another One Piece spinoff is coming, this time focused on the female cast of the series.
On August 10, 2025, alongside the trailer for live-action One Piece Season 2 came the announcement, it was announced that One Piece: Heroines was in production.
While there is no release date or year, there is a key visual featuring Nami and Robin.
Last October 20, 2024, One Piece witnessed a novel adaptation called “One Piece: Fan Letter” directed by Megumi Ishitani and desgined by Keisuke Mori.
Now we have another light novel adaptation, this time as a separate series by YÅ« Kamatani (Haruka Katamani), a veteran One Piece episode director (directing 75 episodes from Episode 376 [2008] to Episode 609 [2013], across 5 years) with designs by acclaimed One Piece animator Takashi Kojima.
It is also noted that Katamani had also directed Precure Super Stars! and helped with Takehiko Inoue’s The (First) Slam Dunk movie (2022).
One Piece novel Heroines is a novel consisting of eight main chapters released in the One Piece Magazines, from volumes 8 to 17, focusing on the female protagonists of One Piece: Nami and Nico Robin from the Straw Hat crew, Princess Nefertari Vivi of Alabasta, Perona, Boa Hancock, Tashigi, Vinsmoke Reiju and Uta.
