One Piece Breaks Yet Another Guiness World Record
One Piece has broken its fourth Guiness World Record!

On May 4, 2025, during the Osaka Anime Expo, One Piece fans gathered around as the main cast of the live-action One Piece series appeared in the “Celebrity Stage” and broke the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing straw hats.
There were 897 participants gathered at Osaka Comic Con, thus breaking the previous record of 797 held in 2014 during an event organized by Luton’s Wardown Park Museum in Luton, England.
This was the fourth world record broken by the One Piece community.
First, One Piece had the most copies published for the same comic book series by a single author twice, first in 2015 when One Piece reached 400 million copies and then n August 2022 when One Piece reached over 500 million copies.
Later in January 2023, One Piece would also have another record for largest collection of unique fan memorabilia, with a fan having 20,125Â unique items.
On July 2024, One Piece also has the most DVDs ever released by a single TV serial program, numbering 300 DVD releases.
