One Piece Season 2 of the anime will likely end around the 27th anniversary of the series, potentially setting a pattern for future releases.
On July 2, 2026, it has been confirmed that One Piece Season 2 will not be a split-cour and thus will continue with the next 13 episodes after One Piece Heroines airs.

Chapter adapted: Chapter 1139: “Mountain Eater”
This is the debut of Scopper Gaban in the present day for the anime.
This will mean that the cour will end up to Chapter 1151: “I Get the Idea!!!” or Episode 1181, which would likely air on October 11, 2026, coinciding with the 27th anniversary of the One Piece anime.
This could be the pattern for future releases moving forward, with a consecutive cour release from Spring all the way to early Fall for the timing to the anime’s anniversary, similar to how Egghead Part 1 ended with the Fan Letter OVA.
