Ōmuro-ke Anime Movie’s New Trailers Reveals Theme Songs

On Tuesday, Bandai Namco Filmworks unveiled the complete trailer for Ōmuro-ke dear friends, the second “mid-length” theatrical animation based on Namori’s Yuruyuri manga spinoff series Ōmuro-ke (The Ōmuro Family).

The firm also disclosed that Emiri Katō, Chiwa Saito, and Rina Hidaka, who play different roles in the movie, will be performing an insert song called “My Sunny Side!”

On June 21, Ōmuro-ke Dear Friends will have its premiere.

On February 2, the first movie, Ōmuro-ke lovely sisters, had its premiere. Each of the two anime films lasts for forty minutes.

Emiri Katō plays Sakurako Ōmuro, the middle child, Rina Hidaka plays Hanako Ōmuro, and Chiwa Saito plays Nadeshiko Ōmuro, the eldest sister. From earlier Yuruyuri anime, all three are reprising their respective roles.

Three seasons of television animation were inspired by the main Yuruyuri manga.

The manga also served as the basis for the original Yuruyuri Nachu Yachumi! video anime, which before its third season premiered in 2015, got a two-episode Yuruyuri Nachu Yachumi!+ television anime sequel.

In November 2019, an original video animation (OVA) celebrating the manga’s tenth anniversary was created, and in September 2019, a miniyuri net anime was released.
