New One Piece Spinoff is Another Special Episode?
Looks like the One Piece Heroines spinoff will just be a single episode focusing on Nami and Nico Robin
On February 24, 2026, it was confirmed that One Piece: Heroines would only be a single episode.
Later for AnimeJapan 2026 on March 28, 2026, alongside the Elbaph trailer, we also got a trailer, featuring two more characters and confirmation that Nico Robin will be another protagonist alongside Nami.
Directed by Yū Kamatani, this anime follows the animation and art style of One Piece animator, Takashi Kojima, who is famous for his work in One Piece and directing the Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 Opening, “The Rumbling” by SiM.

Maaya Sakamoto as Miucha
Takehito Koyasu as Lubun
While this is Sakamoto’s first One Piece-related role, Koyasu is most famous as former Admiral Aokiji or Kuzan.
One Piece novel Heroines is a novel consisting of eight main chapters released in the One Piece Magazines, from volumes 8 to 17, focusing on the female protagonists of One Piece: Nami and Nico Robin from the Straw Hat crew, Princess Nefertari Vivi of Alabasta, Perona, Boa Hancock, Tashigi, Vinsmoke Reiju and Uta.
The episode will be released on July 5, 2026.
