Netflix Releases Trailer For Devil May Cry Anime Series
Season 1 will have eight episodes and will feature the characters Dante, Vergil, and Lady.
On Wednesday, during the Drop 01 event, Netflix unveiled the trailer for the animated series based on CAPCOM’s Devil May Cry game franchise.
The first season of the series is produced by Adi Shankar, and the scripts were written by Alex Larsen in November 2021.
Season 1 will have eight episodes and will feature the characters Dante, Vergil, and Lady.
In November 2018, Adi Shankar announced his acquisition of the sereis and stated that the sereis would join Castlevania, creating a bootleg multiverse.
The original game series also inspired a 12-episode TV anime by Madhouse in 2007. Later in June 2017, Crunchyroll began streaming the anime.
The Devil May Cry 5 game was launched in March 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
In 2022, the game received a special edition of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The game has also inspired a number of novels, manga, and a stage play crossover with Sengoku Basra.
In 2019, Devil May Cry: The Live Hacker stage play also ran in Tokyo.
