After the release of the Minato one-shot as part of the 20th-anniversary celebration of the Naruto anime, a new event called NARUTO THE LIVE has been announced.
The two-day event in Japan will be held at the Makuhari Messe event hall in Japan from September 2-3.
A new visual has been revealed as well:
General admission tickets go on sale this week on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event is set to feature performances by Ikkimonogatari, KANA-BOON, CHIiCO, Humbreaders, and FLOW on the first day, followed by performances by Anly.
Junko Takeuchi (known for her role as Naruto) and Noriaki Sugiyama (famous for portraying Sasuke) will be present as hosts for both days of the event.
VIZ Media publishes the Naruto manga by Masashi Kishimoto in English and gave this description for the first volume:
Twelve years ago the Village Hidden in the Leaves was attacked by a fearsome threat.
A nine-tailed fox spirit claimed the life of the village leader, the Hokage, and many others.
Today, the village is at peace and a troublemaking kid named Naruto is struggling to graduate from Ninja Academy.
His goal may be to become the next Hokage, but his true destiny will be much more complicated. The adventure begins now!
