On Friday, Kohei Horikoshi and Koyoharu Gotouge’s My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga managed to secure positions in The New York Times’ monthly Graphic Books and Manga bestseller’s list.
This list was released in early June.
The 34th volume of My Hero Academia ranked at #2. Whereas, the first volume of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba ranked at #12 on the list.
Previously, the 102nd volume of One Piece ranked at #7 in the May list, with Kaiju No. 8’s volume 6 ranked at #8, and SPY X FAMILY ranked at #13 on the list.
The New York Times posted its first Graphic Books and Manga Bestseller list in October 2019.
