On June 8, 2026, Aniplex teased that they will be announcing a massive project.

Many fans have theorized that this would be an adaptation of Dengeki Daisy, judging from the daisy background.

This was further proven when the author, Kyousuke Motomi, retweeted the announcement.

Indeed, it is confirmed that Studio Deen (Konosuba) will be adapting Dengeki Daisy, with Souta Ueno (Gimai Seikatsu, SHIBOYUGI), as director.

The Dengeki Daisy anime will be released on 2027.

About Dengeki Daisy

Written and illustrated by Kyousuke Motomi, who used a male pseudonym, Dengeki Daisy was released for Shogakukan’s monthly shōjo manga magazine Betsucomi from the June 2007 issue (released on May 12, 2007) to the November 2013 issue (released on October 12, 2013) with 16 volumes and 75 main chapters.

This could mean the series could have 2-3 cours or seasons of content.

The age-gap romance story revolves 16-year old Teru Kurebayashi, whose brother passed away and left her with a cellphone to contact someone named Daisy, who would protect her in his stead and this Daisy happens to be the 24-year old school janitor and computer hacker Tasuku Kurosaki.
