On Monday, it was confirmed that popular Japanese Pop artist LiSA will be performing the theme song for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie.

The song is titled “REALiZE”, and will be released on June 14, two days prior to the movie’s premiere in Japan.

You can hear a part of the song in a new special trailer:

Here is LiSA’s comment on working for the Spider-Man movie:

“A new Spider-Man film. I am very honored to be entrusted to sing the theme song for the Japanese dub edition of this film, in which my favorite Gwen, the strong and cute Spider-Woman, plays an active role.

Heroes who have embraced great power, taken on great responsibility, and jumped through time, space, and sometimes even fear.

I hope you will enjoy ‘REALiZE’ along with the images of these heroes and their heroic actions in the film.”

The cover of the single was drawn by one of the film’s animators, depicting LiSA as a part of the Spider-Verse.

The Japanese Dub Cast for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse are as follows:

  • Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman: Aoi Yuki
  • Peter B. Parker / Spider-Man: Mamoru Miyano
