Leak: Gachiakuta Episode Count Revealed
Gachiakuta fans will no longer have to worry about the anime missing some crucial content.
On June 27, 2025, a reliable leaker revealed that Gachiakuta Season 1 produced by Bones Film (My Hero Academia, Fullmetal Alchemist, Mob Psycho 100) will air a total of 24 episodes across 2 consecutive cours.
This will be more like Jujutsu Kaisen than most seasonal anime, meaning Gachiakuta can go on from July 6, 2025 until December 21, 2025,
If so, this season will likely adapt everything until the end of the sixth arc, Trash Storm Arc (Chapters 44 to 81), essentially covering the first half of the series but some content might be skipped to guarantee tight pacing.
About Gachiakuta
Gachiakuta is a manga written and illustrated by Kei Urana for Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, beginning in February 16, 2022.
As of writing, the series has produced 15 volumes and a total of 140 chapters.
Gachiakuta is set in a world divided into two layers: a rich upper world and the surface full of garbage. After being accused of his foster father’s murder, Rudo becomes a Cleaner that fights against the monsters made from the upper world’s garbage that falls into the Abyss.
