Jujutsu Kaisen’s Infamous Mei Mei And Ui Ui Scene Sparks Controversy Amongst Fandom
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 22 began straight up with the infamous Mei Mei scene, and fans were disappointed that it wasn’t skipped.
As expected, the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom went bonkers as soon as the scene where Mei Mei sleeps butt naked with her brother Ui Ui was adapted in Season 2.
But that’s not even the worst part.
Mei Mei literally asked her blushing brother whether he doesn’t like her THAT way.
This made the sorcerer one of the most hated characters in Jujutsu Kaisen and sparked intense controversy among the western fandom. The Japanese fans, however, do not feel icky about that scene because… well… there’s an entire section of fans who love to see young idols.
So for them, there’s nothing wrong with it.

In this scene, Mei Mei and Ui Ui chickened out of Shibuya and went straight to Malaysia, the dream destination of the fan-favorite Nanami Kento.
This made fans hate Mei Mei even more, wherein some even said Mei Mei should have died instead of Nanami, Nobara and the others.
While others claim that the anime adaptation has made it even worse!
