Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 28 Reveal
Anyone bet that the next volume cover will show Yuji with three fingers? There might be a pattern.
In time with the Jujutsu Kaisen conclusion is the official release of Volume 28 in Japan on October 4, 2024, which features a bloodstained Yuta Okkotsu on the cover.

Volume 28 is titled “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku ShowdownーNine Principlesー” and covers Chapters 246 to 254.
The initial page illustration shows Yuta’s left hand, containing Rika’s ring and it was this hand that Sukuna had cut during the events of the volume.
In the past three volumes, the faces of Gojo, Sukuna, and Kenjaku respectively were illustrated in the initial page.
The summary of the Volume reads as follows:
“With the confiscation of Sukuna’s technique unable to be materialized, Higuruma is split up from Itadori and the others and faces off against Sukuna by himself—-!! Will a strike of Higuruma’s “sure-kill” sword reach Sukuna….!? Furthermore, the “abnormal ability of the modern day” Okkotsu reaches the extremely fierce battle in Shinjuku, and expands his domain!?”
Volumes 29 and 30 will be released together on December 25, 2024.
