The latest leaks of Volume 23 of Jujutsu Kaisen reveal the human form Master Tengen wore before evolving into a curse-like form.

According to the leaked image, Tengen was a petite-looking girl with a sullen expression.

The illustration also shows her with messy hair and a black obi at her waist.

Master Tengen being female comes as no surprise, as the manga had already hinted at it.

All the start plasma vessels have been females, except for one. In chapter 202, she referred to herself as a granny and not a grandpa.

All these were clear indications of Master Tengen being a girl.

About Jujutsu Kaisen

Gege Akutami started its serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018.

The author shared that he plans to end the manga by the end of this year.

In October 2020, Mappa adapted the manga into a TV anime and ran for 24 episodes.

The second season will run for two cours consecutively starting July 6 and cover the Hidden Inventory Arc in the first cour.

In the second cour, it will cover the Shibuya Incident Arc.

Crunchyroll describes season one as:

Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life.

One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul.

From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna.

Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses.

Thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
