Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 Announced!
The second half of Jujutsu Kaisen’s Culling Game Arc has officially been marketed as Season 4 instead of Season 3 Part 2, clarifying a long-held misunderstanding but also potentially confirming a much longer wait
On March 27, 2026, the final episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 aired, titled “Sendai Colony” and with its ending came a preview of the rest of the Culling Game.
At the end, it was announced that the Jujutsu Kaisen anime will return in Season 4.
Contrary to fan perception, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 would not be divided into two cours.
Instead, each season seems to be single-cour.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is titled, “The Culling Game, Part 1” and so Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 is titled, “The Culling Game, Part 2”
This would adapt Chapter 181: “Tokyo No. 2 Colony Part 1” (pages 15-19) up to Chapter 221: “Gain and Loss” for a total of 40 chapters, across possibly 12 episodes.
There are speculations as to when the season will air.
According to the Twitter user Myamura, the schedule of MBS/TBS (Japan TV network in which the anime is broadcasted) all the slots for 2026 are booked for other anime.
This means that Season 4 is speculated to air on January 2027 as early as possible
