Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Cour 1’s Finale Will Be Special Length
The Sendai Colony battle royale set up as the finale for Cour 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen’s latest season and it seems to be treated as special as the Zenin Massacre
On March 19, 2026, the preview of next week’s Jujutsu Kaisen episode has confirmed that the episode will be 27 minutes long, a similar length to Episode 4: “Perfect Preparation”, which has been treated by the series director Shota Goshozono as a particularly special episode for him to do.
Fans have been speculating that the episode will be an hour long or 40-minute episode akin to the first two episodes release.
However, with this length, it is likely that the episode will adapt from Chapter 174 up to Chapter 178, the iconic Three-Way Domain Expansion, or go with two more chapters to complete the entire Sendai fight in a more tight and fast-paced episode focused more on action.
This is also supported by the lack of “Part” number in the title, meaning the whole fight will be adapted and will adapt a total of 7 chapters.
This means that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Cour 1 will have adapted from Chapter 138 to Chapter 178 or 180, for a total of 40-42 chapters within 12 episodes.
With this pace considered, we could see Chapter 181 to Chapter 221 for a total of 41 chapters just like the previous cour and thus completing the whole Culling Game Arc.
Episode 12, “Sendai Colony” will be released on March 26, 2026.
