Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Cour 1 Previews Its Best Content Yet
Get ready for Jujutsu Kaisen’s biggest episode yet! Will this surpass Sukuna vs Mahoraga in quality?
On March 22, 2026, we got the trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Cour 1’s finale, showing a tidbit of the amazing fight to the tune of the opening, Aizo.
Later on March 25, 2026, we got the full staff list and more details on the episode.
Trailer Breakdown

This is a unique case for Jujutsu Kaisen as it is the first time a specific episode is given a trailer, although it would make sense as it is the finale of the cour and is a highly-anticipated event for the fandom.
Notably, we begin with an adaptation of the end of Chapter 174 as, upon spotting the Cockroach Cursed Spirit Kurourushi, Yuta declares that he will kill Kenjaku so that Gojo will not need to kill his best friend Geto’s body twice in his life, and that he will acquire the 400 points needed to make the new rules, all by himself.
We enter an action-packed affair as we see each of the fighters express their sentiments to Yuta:
Ryu Ishigori looking forward to the feast that this fight will bring him, that is the long-awaited satisfaction he never got in life.
Meanwhile, Takako Uro expressing anger at Yuta’s noble personality, which reminds her of the Fujiwara Clan that betrayed her.
And we have the Cockroach who only wants to see blood.
We also get shots of the Domain hand signs from Ryo, Uro and Yuta, following the blue, green and purple colors that would define the iconic Three-Way Domain Clash to come.
It has been confirmed that the Three-Way Domain Clash will be adapted 1:1 to the manga.
Content

Judging from the trailer and the preview images, it has been confirmed that all Sendai chapters will be adapted.
Episode 12 will adapt a whopping 8 chapters: Chapter 174: “Sendai Colony Part 1” to Chapter 181: “Tokyo No. 2 Colony Part 1” (pages 1-14) for a total of 147 pages, an incredible amount of pages for a single 30-minute episode.
This is the most amount of chapters adapted in one episode, with Episode 4: “Perfect Preparation” only adapting 5 chapters, which were only 47 pages, meaning this episode has 100 pages more than an episode with the same length.
This is possible because a crucial part of the battle royale will play the full opening theme song, Aizo, ensuring that the 27 minutes are well-spent.
The song plays in Chapter 180, the climax of the whole fight.
The fight is clean and colorful, especially when Ryu’s blue beam and Yuta’s pink beam clashed.
When the music hits that particular part, leakers describe the scene as absolute cinema.
The episode ends at Chapter 181, page 14 (Miwa walking frame).
However, there were additional scenes after Yuta’s frame showing the other players: Yuji and Takaba, Megumi and Angel, Megumi’s sister in a wheelchair, Sukuna, and Tengen.
This is also confirmation we will be seeing our first glimpse into the anime adaptation of Ryomen Sukuna’s Heian Era appearance.

Shota Goshozono handles half the storyboarding, either for a specific sequence or one half of the long episode but considering this is an action episode, that would likely be Miso’s work.
Many of Season 3’s directors, a total of 7, have stepped in to handle this gargantuan episode.
Itsuki Tsuchigami aka Miso the animator directed Sukuna vs Jogo & Sukuna vs Mahoraga episodes in Season 2 and is now assistant episode director, drawing storyboards and one of the key animators this episode, doing a lot of the heavy lifting for what fans will consider the best action episode of the year.
