Jujutsu Kaisen is the 10th Best-Selling Manga of All Time
Having sold over 150 million copies in total, Jujutsu Kaisen is projected to become the next Demon Slayer as its popularity as a manga and anime continues to grow.
On December 20, 2025, a full year after the release of the final two volumes of Jujutsu Kaisen, we got our most recent sales update, confirming that the series has sold 150 million copies in total.
This makes Jujutsu Kaisen the 10th best-selling manga of all time, nearing Demon Slayer and its 8th place and surpassing former 11th place, Attack on Titan, which has yet to receive a sales update since 2023.
This means that after only one year, 50 million volume copies have been accounted for, which is an incredible feat for a Shonen Jump series in this decade and indicating a radical surge in popularity even after the end of the manga.
Considering how quickly these numbers have been reached, some might consider Jujutsu Kaisen the next Demon Slayer in terms of popularity, as the latter has sold over 225 million copies.
Such a leap did happen with Demon Slayer after its conclusion on May 2020, as in a span of 14 months (October 2020 to December 2021), sales figures rose from 100 million to 150 million copies, and it all happened amidst the release of the first Demon Slayer movie, Mugen Train.
As the Jujutsu Kaisen anime soars in popularity, it is likely that Jujutsu Kaisen could reach the same heights as Demon Slayer and stand alongside Demon Slayer, Naruto, Dragon Ball and One Piece as Weekly Shonen Jump’s most profitable series.
Season 3 Part 1 is set for January 8, 2026, covering the much-anticipated Culling Game Arc.
