Jujutsu Kaisen Influenced By Boruto?! JJK Fans Retaliate By Calling Borutards “Delusional”

Boruto & JJK

Boruto fans love to pick a good fight against other fandoms, especially the One Piece fans. But this time, their target is Jujutsu Kaisen as some of them claim that the fighting sequence and choreography of Toji Fushiguro vs Dagon in JJK Season 2 was influenced from Boruto episode 204 where Naruto and Sasuke fought Isshiki (Jigen) which premiered on June 20, 2021.

Although this may seem absurd at first glance, there might be some credit to their claim as a Boruto fan on Twitter shows how both scenes show striking resemblance and that Jujutsu Kaisen animators referenced Naruto + Sasuke Vs Isshiki in Toji vs Dagon frame by frame.

But here’s where the problem lies: This Twitter user is well known in Anitwt to have compared Boruto with other anime many times and is accused by fans of making “bait tweets” with hardly any substance backing them up.

However, there might be some fruit to his claim here, as Gege Akutami has admitted to being influenced by Naruto while creating Jujutsu Kaisen, but whether he or the animators at MAPPA had the Isshiki fight in mind while drawing Toji vs Dagon is not exactly confirmed.

Nevertheless, Jujutsu Kaisen fans came lining up to attack him and the tweet, saying that Boruto fans have now become delusional.
