It is OVER for Tokyo Revengers Author’s Latest Shonen Jump Work
Ken Wakui’s latest work has sadly proven to be a flop, ending on a rushed final arc and at 50 chapters total.

On April 17, 2025, it was announced that Astro Royale, the new manga of Tokyo Revengers’ author, Ken Wakui, will be cancelled after 50 chapters.
Chapter 50 was released on April 20, 2025 after only a year of serialization.
Fans have noticed for a while that the pacing of the manga was going by too fast to catch up.
In spite of its cancellation, the series was able to receive a nomination for the tenth Next Manga Award in the print category in 2024, a category won by Kagurabachi.
Astro Royale was also revealed its Volume 5 cover on April 21, 2025.
Astro Royale will be releasing its Final Volume 6 on July 4, 2025, which will include a newly-drawn 19-page epilogue for the series to flesh out the final chapter.
Astro Royale is the story of a yakuza member, Hibaru Yotsurugi, who enters a power struggle with his siblings following the death of his father, with the siblings acquiring powers from a meteor that are called Astro.
The manga began on April 15, 2024 and ended on April 21, 2025, exactly one year into publication.
