More than 12.5 million fans voted in the popularity polls
Recently, a popularity poll was held for the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End manga held its second character popularity poll and Himmel won for the second time in a row!
More than 12.5 million fans voted in the popularity polls, with Himmel the Hero receiving 1.2 million votes.
The demon Aura came in second, followed by Fern in third, Übel in fourth, and Frieren herself in fifth place.
Out of 116 contenders, some unexpected choices emerged, reflecting a diverse cast spanning generations.
Notably, The Mimic, Frieren’s eternal rival, secured the 10th spot (only two positions behind Stark at 8th), while the giant hamburger claimed the 18th position.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe.
It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020, with its chapters collected in twelve tankōbon volumes as of December 2023.
The first season of the anime, produced by Studio MADHOUSE, aired from September 2023 to March 2024.
