The film will be screened in the U.S. and Canada on May 7 and 8 by Bandai Namco and Fatho Events.

In both countries, the film with an English sub and a Japanese dub will be screened on May 7 and with an English dub on May 8.

The ticket sale for the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed FREEDOM began on April 5.

The cast for the film includes many returning cast members from the English dubs of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny.

During the screening, a video message from the film’s director, Mitsuo Fukuda, will also be played.

Previously, on March 31, Bandai Namco Filmworks hosted the U.S. premiere of the film with English subtitles in Los Angeles and New York City.

Furthermore, The Japan Society also held a separate screening for the English dub version on April 1st.

The film originally opened in Japan on January 26 and is planned to be screened in 56 countries and territories.

It is a part of the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Project Ingnited initiative, announced in 2021.

The initiative was announced to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original Mobile Suit Gundam Seed anime.

This project also includes a new game and a side story. Mitsuo Fukuda directed the film at Bandai Namco Filmworks. He also co-wrote the script with his late wife, Chiako Morosawa and Liu Goto.
