On Monday, it was announced that the Golden Kamuy anime is casting Satoshi Mikami as Michael Ostrog, one of the Abashiri convicts who has a tattoo.

The sudden pause was because of the passing of an important staff member on November 1. The announcement stated that the staff member was “indispensable” to the production of the anime.
