Gokurakugai To Be Adapted by Kagurabachi’s Future Studio?
Another Jump manga is about to join Kagurabachi in CyGames’s lineup of anime.
On October 20, 2025, it was leaked that Gokurakugai by Yuto Sano will be made into an anime by Cygames Pictures.
If you recall, Cygames Pictures was the studio responsible for the sleeper hit of the Summer 2025 season, “The Summer that Hikaru Died”.
This will also be the same studio responsible for the upcoming adaptation of Weekly Shonen Jump’s next big hit: Kagurabachi.
Gokurakugai also recently won 7th place in this year’s Next Manga Award and 9th in the 2023 Next Manga Award, signifying its closeness to be adapted as an anime.

Gokurakugai is a manga written and illustrated by Jump Square since July 4, 2022 for Shueisha’s monthly Jump Square, with five volumes as of this year.
Gokurakugai is the story of Tao Saotome and Alma, who work for the Gokurakugai Troubleshooter Agency, a problem-solving service in Gokurakugai, a district occupied by humans and beastmen, as they face the emergence of Disaster Beasts, creatures made from dead humans and animals.
