Shou Tucker is not only one of the worst dads in anime history but also CONFIRMED to be among the most HATED characters in any TV show in history!

That’s right! According to viaranking.com, the Fullmetal Alchemist character is actually ranked 4th among the top 10 hated characters in TV series.

Shou Tucker gets his hate due to the fact that he turned his only daughter and her beloved dog into a fused chimera just so he could experiment on them.

This is after he promised his daughter Nina Tucker that she’d live happily no matter what. Edward was so mad that he started beating the shit out of Tucker, while the monster just laughed manically.

About Fullmetal Alchemist:

Fullmetal Alchemist is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa. It was serialized in Square Enix’s shōnen manga anthology magazine Monthly Shōnen Gangan between July 2001 and June 2010; the publisher later collected the individual chapters in 27 tankōbon volumes.

It has been adapted into various anime—two television series (FMA & FMAB), released in 2003 and 2009, and two films, released in 2005 and 2011, all animated by Bones—as well as light novels. The series has generated original video animations (OVAs), video games, supplementary books, a collectible card game, and a variety of action figures and other merchandise.

A live-action film based on the series was released in 2017, and two sequels in 2022.

Crunchyroll describes the overall plot of Fullmetal Alchemist as follows:

Disregard for alchemy’s laws ripped half of Ed Elric’s limbs from his body and left Al’s soul clinging to a suit of armor. To restore what was lost, the brothers seek the Philosopher’s Stone. Enemies and allies – the corrupt military, the Homunculi, and foreign alchemists – will alter the Elric’s course, but their purpose will remain unchanged and their bond unbreakable.
