Twitter’s manga expert, @MangaMoguraRE, posted on May 2, 2024, that Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End manga will go on hiatus after the release of Chapter 130, which is said to come out on May 8. After that, the manga is said to go on break, with no return date announced.

However, this isn’t the first time the manga has gone on a long break. Not too long ago, in March 2024, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End took a month off until mid-April. So far, there’s no reason mentioned for the hiatus or any updates on the authors’ health.

But I’m certain more information will be out soon enough.

How will she come to understand what life means to the people around her? Decades after their victory, the funeral of one of her friends confronts Frieren with her own near immortality.

Frieren sets out to fulfill the last wishes of her comrades and finds herself beginning a new adventure…”
