Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Anime New Trailer Teases The 2nd Stage Of Mage Exam Arc
The 2nd stage of the First Class Mage Exam is set to begin airing on Feb 16, 2024.
TOHO Animation’s official YouTube channel uploaded a new trailer for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime series, on Feb 9, 2024, which previews the 2nd stage of the First Class Mage Exam Arc.
The trailer dropped after the release of episode 23 on Feb 16.
The 2nd stage of the First Class Mage Exam is set to begin airing on Feb 16, 2024.
In addition to this, a special livestream event called “~The Magic of Talk~ Special Edition [First Class Mage Exam]” will be held in Japan on Feb 13. It will feature cast members Atsumi Tanezaki (Frieren), Kana Ichinose (Fern) and Ikumi Hasegawa (Übel), who will recap and discuss the first stage of the exam arc and preview the second stage, along with additional behind-the-scenes details.
It will be livestreamed on TOHO’s official YouTube channel on the aforementioned date.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020, with its chapters collected in twelve tankōbon volumes as of December 2023. The manga had 8 million copies in circulation as of March 2023.
