First Look into Live-Action One Piece Season 2 Expands the Worldbuilding
One Piece Live-Action has announced Season 3’s confirmation within this amazing first look trailer.

On August 10, 2025, Netflix unveils a first look into the second season of One Piece-Live Action.
Previously, an image was posted by official social media showing the Straw Hats in their newest outfits.
The trailer shows multiple locations for the season, beginning with Cactus Island and Loguetown, then entering to Whiskey Peak with hints of Little Garden all around and ending on the first entry into the Grand Line with the encounter with the island whale Laboon.
The trailer also shows us Nico Robin, played by Lera Abova, using her Hana Hana no Mi abilities, to infiltrate a Marine facility, like Smoker’s in Loguetown as we see two statues of Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Commander-in-Chief Kong.
Speaking of Loguetown, in town square, we see a carnival, which is the setting for the battle between the Buggy-Alvida Alliance and the Straw Hats, with Luffy showing respect to the platform.
Scenes here show some original content, including Nami fighting a slimmer Alvida, played by Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, who has eaten the Sube Sube no Mi.
We also spot Dorry, played by Werner Coetser, approaching the Straw Hat crew in Little Garden, giving the audience a first look at the live-action Giants of Elbaph.
Speaking of Little Garden, we spot Sanji entering the candle wax shelter made by Mr. 3, where he would receive a call from Baroque Works’ boss, Mr. 0.
We also see, Smoker, played by Callum Kerr, adapted with his motorbike and two cigars.
For the Whisky Peak section, we spot Miss Wednesday, played by Charithra Chandran, fighting Usopp, with her Peacock Slashers.
Notably, Chopper, voiced by Mikaela Hoover, is not present even though he was previously previewed for Tudum 2025.
We also do not see Koby and Helmeppo, nor other confirmed characters such as Tashigi, Wapol, Dalton, Kureha, Brogy, Igaram and the other Baroque Works Agents.
Fans have remarked that the scale and scope of the One Piece world feel enlarged with this trailer, quite literally with the reveal of the Giants in the live-action
The trailer ends with an announcement of Season 3 coming soon, which some fans see as an equivalent to a “no break next week” statement in a manga chapter.
This is due to the confirmed locations, from Loguetown and ending on Drum Island while Season 3 wraps up the Arabasta Saga.
Additionally, filming for Season 3 began in the middle of 2025 while Season 2 is currently in post-production.
The new season is set to dock in 2026.
